She made the call Friday May 5,2023 during activities to celebrate International Midwives Day with the theme: Together Again, From Evidence To Reality. "Prospective midwives should have an understanding and caring attitude, an ability to get on well with people from a wide range of backgrounds and good observers. Health Officials Embrace Mobile App To Improve Maternal, Child Heath In Cameroon

Fozao Vaniela           View of participants A Mobile Application known as Mobile Medical Information Services via Telephone also known as (mMist)has seen the light of day in Bamenda, North West Region of Cameroon. mMist whose function is to improve on Maternal and Child Health in Cameroon was presented to the public during a capacity building come-together at the Nkwen Baptist Hospital,Friday October 21,2022 that had 46 parcipants.          Open discussion As pointed out by the Program Coordinator of mMIST, University Alabama Birmingham Projects, Mrs Mbah Rachel, the app will ease things for women: "Pregnant women will be able to have direct consultation and intervention from a gynaecologist, pediatrician or neunatologist depending on her case. It was necessary for the district medical officers, and maternity ward head nurses to come together to know what the project is all about. In essence, the project is going to help improve quality health care in our system," she said....

Fozao Vaniela .         View of participants        Young girls have been called upon to stand for their rights in the society especially when it concerns sex education.  The call was made by the psychological support officer in the TeenAlive Organization, Madam Neng Judith in a one day event at the delegation of social affairs, 15th October 2022 with about 36 young girls present. "Let's enlighten young girls who are growing up about sex education in order not to be embarrassed," Neng indicated. The chief of Social Center at the Bamenda III Council, Mbah Janet who was also present at the event emphasized on the importance of educating the girl child,   "Educating the girl child is educating the nation.
